2FA Setup Guide
Protect your account with an extra layer of security using Time-based One-Time Passwords.
1 Download an Authenticator App
You need a TOTP-compatible app on your mobile device before proceeding.
- Google Authenticator (iOS / Android)
- Authy (iOS / Android) — recommended
- Microsoft Authenticator
2 Enable 2FA in Settings
Go to Dashboard → Settings → Security and click "Enable Two-Factor Authentication". A QR code will appear.
- Open your authenticator app
- Tap "+" to add a new account
- Scan the QR code shown on Koolmine
3 Confirm and Save Backup Codes
Enter the 6-digit code to confirm 2FA is working. Save your backup recovery codes in a safe place.
If you lose access to your authenticator and have no backup codes, account recovery requires manual identity verification.
